Welcome to Riverview Chihuahuas! We are a very small exhibitor/breeder located about 50 minutes outside Charlotte, in Anson County, North Carolina. Since purchasing our first of the breed in 2006, we have become fully devoted to everything Chihuahua.

Our breeding program consists of well established lines from breeders who have over the years perfected their breeding programs to fit the CCA and AKC Standards. We continue to research and work with other breeders to development a solid, consistent breeding program.  While our breeding program is for the sole purpose of producing the next show prospect, there are times a puppy will be available to an approved show or pet home. Pet homes require a spay/neuter contract. We rarely breed.


Our Chihuahuas are raised in home and socialized daily. We do not crate or kennel our dogs. They are not our pets, but our children and companions. References are available upon request!



Our dogs are registered with the AKC. We do not associate with all of the meaningless registries such as the the ACA, APRI, or CKC (Continential Kennel Club) not to be confused with the Canadian Kennel Club. We do not breed "teacups" or "deer heads" as there is no such thing according to the breed standard nor do we breed for specific colors or patterns.
